hi ihave a grandfather clock with the name george wilson appleby is this your appleby or the appleby in westmoorland can anyone help please

It is probably worth reviewing Richard Dunmore's article regarding the clock makers of Appleby Magna. But, unfortunately from your perspective, no reference to anyone called Wilson. www.applebymagna.org.uk/appleby_history/misc_clockmakers.htmThe family name Wilson does appear in the Appleby Magna Parish Registers, but none are listed as clockmakers. |
