Orton and Smith families in Appleby Magna mid 1700

Searching for any links to Thomas Orton, born 1749 in Orton on the Hill, married Jane Smith from Appleby Magna in Appleby Magna 2 Aug 1774. I believe that the Smith family came from Appleby Magna. Thomas died in Appleby in 1825.
