Hi, can anyone help me please, i am looking for any information regarding the marriage between John Jordan (Jorden) of Appleby Magna and Mary Wright of Donington-le-Heath. I think they may have been married in Appleby on or about February 1689. Any further info would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Are you sure that the marriage was at Appleby? Marriages usually took place in the bride's parish. Donington le Heath seems to have been part of Hugglescote, itself a chapelry (dependent church) of Ibstock. They ought to have been married there. You may be lucky and find the parish registers for Ibstock/ Hugglescote at the Record Office. Richard
