I wonder if any locals could help me. We are moving to the village the end of April and I am looking to place my son in a day nursery for Mondays and Wednesdays (he is 2 and a half) can anyone recommend any nurserys they have heard of or have had children go to one that are of a good stanard. I understand there is a play group at the village hall but I need all day placement. Thanks Edit - moved by admin to where it may be better seen - cheers.

Natalie - I don't think there is an "all day" nursery in the village, at least not as far as I or my wife know.
If anyone is likely to know what is available locally it will be the Happy Hedgehogs group leader. This is their contact information taken from the village web site.
As this is a public forum and occasionally accessed by spammers I have added a couple of spaces to the email address and removed the telephone number, if required that information can be found on the main village web site under community/village groups.

Ignore this post - just trying to reset the board's date sequencing.

Thanks so much for the reply. I will have to go nursery and easter egg hunting today ;D will have to go visiting a few in Measham/Swaldincote and Ashby I think. Just wanted my son to maybe go to a local one so some of his friends may move with him to Sir John Moore.
Looking forward to moving to Appleby.
