In the 1841 Census the Henshaw and Harris family were living at Duck Paddle. Is there any one related to the Henshaw family still there?

Sue - there's certainly no one living where the Henshaws lived in 1841. As I wrote in my article: 'Most of the old buildings in this area, except [345] below, were demolished to make way for St Michaels Drive.' The number 345 refers to my map. Have a look at the area 'Duck Lake Appleby Magna' using Google Maps. The zoomed view is brilliant. You will see that the whole area, except the single house mentioned in the article has been completely redeveloped. There remains the possibility that someone from the family still lives in the village or area, but I don't know. Richard
