The St. Michael & All Angels’ Burial Records 1878 to 1959.
Presented here in pdf format are the burial records for St. Michael’s Church in Appleby Magna for the period 1878 to 1959.
1878 was the year the “new” churchyard opened, so there is some overlap with the previously published 1934 transcription
which contained the records from the old closed (i.e. full) burials register, those entries ended in 1906 when the register was sent to
the local Record Office (Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland) for long term preservation.

The records being presented here are from multiple sources. Mainly the church’s burial register,
with some extra data taken from the Sexton’s notes and addition privately supplied information
(if there is a reference under ‘same plot’ it means there’s probably a headstone).
